How do Earthquakes Start

Earthquakes happen when the tectonic plates (Divergent plate boundaries, Transform plate boundaries, Convergent plate boundaries) rub against each other which makes the crust of the earth shake. The theory about the subduction zone is how an earthquake starts but the only difference is that the tectonic plates push against each other like a jigsaw piece and not under one another.The energy from the seismic waves are so strong it makes the crust of the earth rumble and then an earthquake is created.
